The Hars traveled to the WORLDS FAVORITE fire
company tonight in celebration of their annual
awards banquet. Many Hars are VOLUNTEERS at
Aston-Beechwood F.C. and many others are supporters
of this Class A organization. The Hars would
like to congratulate Harry's Jeff Kane and Kevin
Carr on receiving well deserved awards tonight.
Also, let's welcome JJ Bonsall and Jyl Lawler
from St. 54 and Nick and Kit Spayed; our newest
Hars. Afterward, the party continued at Harry
Headquarters but unfortunately the Bob's never
made it. Click on the Paradise by

NEW
HATS TAKE A TOUR: 1st HQ then to DEXTERS on
the 5 then THE ONE SPOT
Friday,
February 23, 2007-
"The Hars Rally for Caley"
baseball hats came in today. These hats were
purchased mainly for Caley as her little head
will be shaved for the operation. As you know,
the operation has been pushed back one week
to March 5th. The night started at HQ and then
14 Hars traveled to Dextrers
On The 5
to enjoy more fun people, good food and most
importantly, a smoke free environment. Thanks
to the owners of Dexters for the big Harry invite,
we will see you again soon. Finally, the Hars
made it to the One Spot to hang with the Micuns
and even more Hars until the wee hours of the
night. In the AM, Caley was presented with her
new “Yo Har” baseball hat. Her response
was very comical “I’m not a Yo Har
yet, not until I get their blood during the
operation”. She finally agreed to wear
the hat and then had a big day on the town with
Harriette Sarah. CLICK ON THE PICTURES ABOVE
OR BELOW FOR MORE PHOTO'S.
THE
HARS RALLY FOR CALEY
Monday,
February 19, 2007-The
Hars have come together to help one of our own.
Four year old Caley Micun is having major reconstruction
surgery one week from today on Monday, February
26th. She will be in the hospital for approximately
10 days and then sent home for an additional
three-month recovery time.
Caley was born with Craniofacial Dysplasia.
Her symptoms include delayed closure of the
space between the bones of the skull, her eyes
are set wide apart and she has a wide nasal
bridge due to the placement of her eyes.
The etiology of this condition is unknown. It
is so rare that it does not have a name and
it is not a syndrome. Caley is 1 of 7 children
in the world to be born with this condition.
Caley's doctor at Children’s Hospital
in Philadelphia is the ONLY doctor to have ever
performed this surgery.
Surgeons will need to reshape parts of her tiny
skull and fuse it back together with dissolvable
plates. They are also going to drill new eye
sockets and move her eyes closer together. Caley
will not be able to open her eyes for about
a week after the surgery due to the swelling.
Most of Caley's problems are able to be corrected
by this surgery that is expected to last 8-10
hours. This will be the biggest surgery that
Caley will need but she may need additional
minor surgeries after she is recovered.
Caley would love to have visitors stop by while
she is in the hospital or after she is discharged
to home. The Hars will be there every step of
the way to help the Micuns get through this
difficult time. Many Hars have already donated
blood directly for Caley as she will need several
pints during the surgery. We will now be able
to say that Caley will always have HARRY BLOOD.
Adam and Tracy appreciate ALL the support the
Hars have given them in preparing for Caley's
surgery. Updates on Caley’s condition
will be made periodically on this site.

BAD
TO WORSE IN VALLEY TWP.
Sunday,
February 18, 2007-
Meadowbrook Drive has reopened this afternoon
in Valley Township. Just before midnight on
Saturday 2/17, the 4-wheel drive on this mini-van
malfunctioned and Harry (Scott)
became stuck in the snow. Help finally arrived
on Sunday morning but conditions deteriorated
rather quickly in the rescue attempt. Harry
(Jack) successfully pulled the van from the
snow. When attempting to remove the knot from
the tow rope, well..... let's just say the only
ignition key to this vehicle is now in two parts.
Thank goodness for nice neighbors with long
screw drivers who assisted. Attention all other
neighbors, the road is now passable, sorry for
the inconvenience, stop in for a free foot massage
anytime to allow us to make amends.
WEEKLY
H1S OPENING W/ SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT & UNVEILING
Friday,
February 16, 2007 -
An unusually large number of Hars gathered
at H1S this evening for the regular weekly opening.
Proprietors Adam and Tracy couldn't figure out
what all the hub bub was about, after all it isn't
everyday that Beth G. travels down just for an
H1S opening. Well around 1030pm the big announcement
was made. Hars John M. and Jimmy O. have been
organizing a "Helping Harrys" club over
the past few weeks. The "Helping Harrys"
intentions are to make Adam and Tracy's life a
little bit easier over the next 6 weeks while
their daughter, Caley, is recovering from her
upcoming surgery. A meal schedule has been planned
with different Hars taking turns making dinner
for the family while some of the more handy Hars
have been busy making "Yo Har" hats
for the Micun's to wear. A cleaning service is
also scheduled to come in for a few weeks. It
goes to show the Hars don't just party, we do
take care of others in their time of need, especially
our friends and family. Sometime during the night,
a new Jäeger machine may have been unveiled
but it was probably lost in the excitement of
the "Helping Hars" announcement, the
"pile up" or the stair diving, complete
with multiple dives with multiple people piled
up. It was a great night, evident by the fact
that numerous guests didn't leave until 11am or
later on Saturday!
WELCOME
BABY HARRIETTE MCGOUGH
Monday,
February 12, 2007 -
Today, Terry, Tony and big
brother Ryan made the world a better place
by welcoming a beautiful baby girl to the
world. Meghan Colleen McGough was born at
12:51pm. She weighed in at 10 pounds 3 ounces
and is 22 1/2 inches long. Mom
and Meghan are all doing well. Please join
the Hars in wishing the new Harry addition
lots of love and congratulations.
HARS
IN DISNEY
February 6th - 11th, 2007 -
Harry (Mike) Baessler was sent to Orlando
for a work convention. Harriette (Lauren) and
little Har (Madison) were dragged along, gee that
was hard. While staying on Disney property at
the Port Orleans Riverside resort they decided
to spend a couple days in the Magic Kingdom. Harriete
(Lauren) loved being back at Disney World as that
is where Little Har came to be. Madison had so
much fun seeing characters and watching the parades,
she even managed to get Mickey and Minnie's autograph.
The Hars had some great meals with the characters
including lunch at Cinderella's castle. But the
best part of the trip came on Saturday when they
got to meet the fire chief of Main Street U.S.A.
He was very interested in the Yo Hars and all
that they stand for. He even introduced the Hars
to a man named Jack who was named fireman of the
year after 9-11, (sorry no pics with him). It
was a great trip and they can't wait to go back.
HEADQUARTERS
IS BACK IN SERVICE
Monday,
February 12, 2007 -
Several months later, the new kitchen
at HQ is fully functioning and ready for the grand
re-opening.
Stay
tuned to the forums for that date and time.
The 11 foot island, restaurant
style ice maker and flat screen tv highlight the
new style open kitchen. A
special thanks to Beth Graham and all the other
Hars that helped with the major renovations.
WHO
LET THE HARS OUT?
Saturday, February 10, 2007 - Well…technically
it’s Who Let the Dogs Out, but the Hars
ruled the annual St. James winter reunion. Harry
Kevin (or should we say Jack?) won the 50/50 and
several Hars won door prizes. Harry (Scott M.)
put on a great show as nearly 200 Bulldog alumni
& friends showed up to support the STJ scholarship
fund. Harry (Tom Van Horn) worked the DJ Booth
while Hars Jackie B and Andy kept the beer and
jäger flowing. A special thanks to Harry
Jimmy O. for all his hard work! The matriarch
and patriarch of all Hars were in attendance as
Mr. Carr manned the door and Mrs. Carr was head
of hospitality. Harry Scott had to leave early
to work Harry Tom Sprows’ and Deacon Harry
Betzal’s Monte Carlo night at St. Joe’s
A-Town.
BLUE
MOUNTAIN HARRYS
Friday,
February 9, 2007 -
Just before breakfast the volunteers,
correction, the Harrys, were dispatched to
Blue Mountain Ski Resort to rendezvous with
the "guys" for a day of skiing.
The weather started out a bit cold but warmed
up nicely. Harriette Graham kept nice and
warm with her backpack full-o-wine. Super
Har Matt sported a Yo Har! Cape. The "Yo
Guys" had a great time with the Hars
and are discussing a merger, or should we
say consolidation based on our terms. The
"guys" were quite upset when they
heard that the merged name they proposed was
already taken by the "Gars"! Nice
Beaver call Guy! Shame you Guys didn’t
make it out to the One Spot where the party
continued well into the night. Maybe next
time the Mrs. Guys will let you out a little
longer.
100th
PATRON AT THE ONE SPOT / SUPER BOWL PARTY
Sunday,
February 4, 2007 - The
One Spot was open for Super Bowl XLI and 25 Hars
arrived for the big party. The conversation did
not revolve around the game or even the commercials,
but the anticipation of the 100th different patron
at Harry's One Spot. After the 1st half, the 100th
guest finally arrived. It was none other than......
drum roll please....... some girl Rolly III brought.
All we know is her name is Sherri and she won
the Harry merchandise gift pack which included
a Yo Har t-shirt, beer cozie, key chain and license
plate. Congrats Sherri.
FUN
TIMES IN CENTER CITY
Saturday,
February 3, 2007 - After
receiving a phone call from our friends Nikki
and Paul, the Hars headed downtown. The Hars met
Nikki and Paul in Key West back in September and
they finally made it to Philly for a weekend visit.
Everyone met at Moriaty's for a few drinks and
some karaoke. Smoke free bars rock. Afterwards,
the Hars went back to the hotel and were quite
irritated the folks in the room right next to
1010 were so loud. Security was called twice and
the neighbors finally quitted down so everyone
could finally get some zzzz's. Looking forward
to seeing you both in Philly again soon Nikki
and Paul! "Fireboard, can I give you a name
and number, I'm lost and I'm cold". Rumor
had it that Adam and Tracy were going to stop
by but Moletteri confirmed this didn't happen,
oh well, maybe next time. On another note, is
anyone selling a portable x-ray machine and casting
materials? The Hars may want to invest in one.
EGGS
BENEDICT AT THE 4-0
Saturday,
February 3, 2007 -
After hearing Harriette (Sarah)
was making eggs benedict for breakfast this
morning, Hars Jack and Matt invited themselves
over. Let's just say, everyone needs to try
these eggs benedict, they were phenomenal. Keiser,
good job buying the OJ with no pulp.
PICKLES
AND POKER AT THE ONE SPOT
Friday,
February 2, 2007 -
Pickles made her 1st appearance
at Harrys' One Spot tonight. It was a an enjoyable
laid back evening of relaxing and playing Texas
Hold 'Em. Harry (John M.) took home the big
money from this game. We'll see you next time
Sammy when you are not so busy.
MIKELL
AND JEN GOT A NEW CAMERA
Sunday,
January 28, 2007 -
So we went to Barnaby's and took
pictures. Here they are. Welcome to the Har
group Dan Herron, Frank's brother.
CARIBBEAN
CRUISE 2007
Sunday,
January 14th - 21st, 2007 -
The Hars have returned from their
7-day Caribbean Cruise on the Carnival Destiny
ship. Harry Matt missed the galley tour on the
1st day but was still able to get that extra
potato at dinner. After “unpacking”
it was time to check out our vessel. The Captain
agreed to change the name of the ship to Carnival
YO HAR, but unfortunately his superiors wouldn’t
allow it. The Hars very easily took over the
majority of the ship and met a ton of fun people.
Holy Toledo Chief, good game.
After leaving San Juan on Sunday, the ship landed
early in St. Thomas where the Hars met up with
Jimmy O. and one of the newest Hars, Franny.
Jimmy and Franny hooked up the Hars with their
very own sail and snorkel Catamaran tour. After
saying good-bye to Jimmy O. the next port of
call brought the Hars to the island of Dominica.
Some Hars explored the beautiful rain forest
while others checked out the shopping on their
own. This night was capped off by an incredible
performance by Tom Elvis in his bath robe and
his banana.
On Wednesday, Destiny landed in Barbados and
everyone split up to try various activities
including ATV rides, the fun beach and of course
a Har favorite, The Jolly Roger. Here the rum
punch flowed nicely and everyone got to try
the rope swing into the Caribbean. Welcome to
the Hars Carol, Graham, Ashley, Amber and Ally….
follow the leader leader leader leader. We’ll
send you a copy of that video.
On Thursday, the Hars arrived in St. Lucia where
it was time to hit the beach. Everyone was delivered
back to the cruise ship on the new Harry water
taxi which made for a very fun ride. All this
while Matt was mountain biking.The
big surprise of the cruise came at dinner on
Thursday night when Harry (Paul) Ellis took
a knee and asked his “cute as a button”
lady friend, Laura to marry him. Thankfully
she said “yes” otherwise it would
have been very embarrassing for Paul, or should
we say endearing?
Ding
ding ding, Friday the ship landed in Antigua
and the Hars hit the “Miller Beach”
and rented some jet skies. Saturday was the
day at sea where the party really kicked into
high gear. Keiser was hanging out on the upper
deck along with Scotty G. and the other Graham
so more Hars joined them for some Miami Vices.
A shout out to ALL of our new friends, we had
an AWESOME time hanging out with you and now
feel “less uneducated”.
Between the ports of call, the Hars enjoyed
exploring the ship, swimming, playing twister
on the Lido Deck, riding down the water slide,
the women’s spa treatment and the guys
hanging in the (two words) hot tub. Fun times
during the last 7 days, now we need a vacation.
We’ll let the pictures show everyone how
much fun was had by all. Click

BON
VOYAGE CRUISING HARS
Friday,
January 12, 2007 - Another
night, another chance to hang at Harrys' One Spot
Pub. Tonight the Hars gathered to play some Texas
Hold 'Em and to say farewell to the 16 Hars that
will be cruising in the Caribbean starting Sunday
1/14. Another great night at the One Spot capped
off with a surprise stair dive from none other
than Cake and a visit from the Barnaby's Crew
at 3am. We welcome our new Garnet Valley Hars
and look forward to seeing you again soon. CLICK
ON THE PICTURE ABOVE FOR MORE SNAP SHOTS.
LATE
NIGHT VISIT FROM THE BOBS
Sunday,
January 7, 2007 - A
few of the Bobs from Flashovers
Tavern celebrated the
Eagles victory by stopping over to The One Spot
late tonight. We are not quite sure what they
were looking for in the garage and why Bob (Frank)
went mud sliding on the front lawn but the crew
finally found the Jack in basement. The park bench
has now been chained to the house. Thanks for
stopping over guys, we'll see you next time.
E
A G L E S AT THE ONE SPOT
Sunday,
January 7, 2007 - The
One Spot was open yet again so the Hars could
gather for the big game. Poppy seed chicken, ribs
and plenty of appetizers held this crowd over
and the Eagles prevailed in this exciting playoff
match-up. New Orleans here we come. YO HAR!
NEW
YEARS 2007--VARIOUS ACTIVITIES TAKING PLACE
Sunday,
December 31, 2006 & Monday, January 1, 2007
- The Hars had various
parties and events going on for New Years this
year. A contingent of Hars bought tickets to Harry's
(Steak's) NY Eve party held at Barnaby's. The
gang had some great food, open bar for 4 hours
and a lot of fun (duh). Special appearances by
Tom and Charlie Fuller were also on the agenda.
While the Hars were in A-town, 25 other Hars and
friends headed to the One Spot for a NY Eve house
party. Little Hars were also on hand including
the Carr kids, Graham girls and of course the
Micun duo. A handful of other Hars headed to Club
Tango in the city. The parties lasted well into
the morning breaking up around 630am. More Hars
headed over to the One Spot later in the afternoon
for bloody mary's since the Mummer's parade was
PPD due to rain.
GOOD
FOOD, COLD DRINKS & GREAT FRIENDS - HOLIDAY
PARTY 2006
Thursday,
December 21, 2006 -
Approximately sixty Hars arrived
at Barnaby's tonight for the annual Harry Holiday
party complete with a buffet dinner, stealing
Santa pollyanna, 12 Days of Harry Christmas
and plenty of fun times. To tell the story of
the night, let's just quote some of the Hars
that were there. CLICK ON THE ABOVE PICTURE
FOR MORE MEMORIES. Frank
H. - "Yohar's Great show. Thank
you all for your friendship and the presents,
but mostly for the laughs. Anyone would be lucky
to have such a great group of friends.
Yohar Frank" Kevin
C. - "To
everyone who was there, fun times as usual Hars.
Lets just say we are awesome. First off, the
parking tonight was worse than it is on St.
Patty's Day and Thanksgiving Eve, due mostly
in part because of the high number of Hars in
attendance. Only the Hars can pull that off.
In addition we met so many new Hars tonight.
54 Hars in attendance tonight, absolutely crushed
the attendance at the banquet, but who's counting." Jen W. - "To the Barnaby's
staff........You are just awesome. Jim, Andy,
and the rest of you..wonderful night. Definitely
felt like I was in a place where "everyone
knew my name". Keiser - "Great time!
I stood at the end of the bar at one point and
looked at all the Hars that were there and really
thought about how great it is to have such an
awesome group of friends. Merry Christmas Hars!" RJ Diamond - "Thank you
everyone for a great time. Thank You again for
everything and I will see everyone again soon.
The 12 days of Harry was fabulous!" John C. - "Thanks to Tracy
and Jen for the great party. We made a lot of
new Hars last night. Next year, let's keep the
place longer (if they'll let us.) This was also
a record setting night at the One." Scott M. - "What an amazing
party!!!!!!!!!! What a turnout!" Andy S. - "I just wanted
to thank everyone for the great party last night.
I had the best of both worlds. I got to participate
in the festivities and tend bar. I so appreciate
everything that you all did for me." Adam M. - "Congrats to
Jen and Tracy for recruiting so many Hars to
attend the Christmas party. It truly was a wonderful
time for everyone who attended. Thanks especially
to the staff at Barnaby's as well. Without all
of their efforts, last night would not have
gone so well. You guys know how sappy I am.
I had a tear in my eye at one point just looking
around and realizing what a great group of friends
we all have in each other. Very touching." Jack B. - "Awesome time,
does anyone know where my car is?" Cake (and Emily) - "What
a great time, we are glad we made it out.." Jim O. - "Hars, first
off let me try to express how happy I am that
I have a group of friends like all of you. Just
watching the Hars both here & at H1S makes
me smile. That said I want to thank Jen &
Tracy for organizing the Holiday "Banquet".
Thanks also goes to Adam/Tracy for putting up
with us at H1S. All of you Hars that were involved
in the presents for Frank I myself, Thank you
I love it. Good Game last night Hars! I want
to wish all of you a Happy Holiday Season &
a Great New Year! Hope fully I will see all
of you over the Holidays." John M. - "Wow is all
I can say after last night. I had such a blast
and am truly thankful to have all of the Hars
as a huge group of friends. Tracy and Jen- Congratulate
yourselves. I finally got to meet Katie and
Diane last night-hope to see you guys more.
Who wrote the 12 days of Christmas, it was hilarious?
Jimmy, Frank and staff thanks for all you do
for us through the year, hopefully you enjoy
the gifts you definitely deserve them."
(from the webmaster, The 12 Days of Harry
Christmas was written by John and Lynn Carr,
Matt Carr and Jack Betzal) Mikell J. - "There's not
much to say that has not already been said.
I had a great time. Thank you to all the staff
for everything you do for us. Thanks to all
the Hars for attending. I too at times was just
sitting back and watching all of us, such a
great feeling to be around that many great friends.
Have a Harry Christmas and Happy New Year." Scott J. - "What an awesome
time last night. I'm glad I was worked into
the Harry Days of Christmas, always a laugh
every time we are out. Jen, Tracy, Jim, Frank,

time too! Thanks Tracy and Jen for planning
everything!" Jay H. - "Good times,
Hars! I can't say anything that hasn't already
been said, so all I can say is "WOWZER"
(TM JP MICUN 2006). One of the greatest qualities
about the Hars is their openness to new people.
You just can't get that anywhere else! Jen and
Tracy, you guys rock! Merry Christmas, Hars!" Diane B. - "Yo Har! What
a great time last night...thanks to Jen and
Tracy for organizing a great party! Unfortunately,
my night got cut wayyyyyy shorter than expected
due to those "Andy Specials"...what
was in those things anyway??? You guys are such
a great group of people...thank you for welcoming
us newbies into your circle of Hars! I don't
think I've ever had a group of friends like
you all. Can't wait to hang out again...and
still disappointed that I had to miss the rest
of the evening and the after party at the One!" Patmylett - "Yo har's

said. what a night ? So many awesome memories.
Now that was unbelievable! Thanks to Tracy,

HEADQUARTERS
COMING ALONG
Wednesday,
December 20, 2006 -
Much progress has been made with
headquarters over the past two weeks. The new
Harry HQ kitchen is approximately 90% complete.
We are still waiting on the custom counter tops
(delivery scheduled for 1/10/07), one wall cabinet,
some trim work and the paint scheme by lead designer
Harriette (Beth) Graham.
CANDY
CANES & LIMA PARTY
Saturday,
December 16, 2006 - Story
and pictures to be posted soon by Mr. Harry
(Kevin) Carr.
CARR
KIDS & CHRISTMAS AT HERSHEY
Saturday,
December 8, 2006 - Hars
Lynn and John Carr took the little Hars to Christmas
at Hersheypark. The park is decorated beautifully
for Christmas. The kids got to ride some cold,
cold rides until Madison's hands couldn't take
anymore. Headed inside for some hot chocolates
and a quick swing through the store. Last stop
was a drive through the Sweet Lights display.
That's a 2 mile drive through a Christmas lights
display. It was nice and warm but because of the
cold it was very popular and it took 2 hours to
ride through. They've made it an annual trip.
LACK
OF SECURITY AT FLASHOVER'S TAVERN
Wednesday,
December 6, 2006 - The Flashover's
Tavern Fire helmet visited HQ this evening.
The coveted helmet that contains the signature
of each and every tavern patron needed a break
and headed to the best place in Aston. Apparently
the Flashover's Head of Security, Deputy Head
of Security and John "I wanna be a fireman"
Rapp weren't enough to protect this prized possession.
Recognizing
our superiority, CEO of Flashover's has agreed
to a truce and wants to be friends. He would
like to get the Hars and Bobs together for a
mutual gathering before Christmas.
Allegedly asleep at the helm
Too busy being a fireman
"PADDY'S
WELL" AT THE A-TOWN WHARF
Saturday,
December 2, 2006
- Seems to be the Harry group just keeps growing
and growing and growing. We are not just talking
about beer belly's here. Today at the Wharf
Tavern
the
Hars continued to network and now have many
more followers and members thanks the strong
Harry presence. Paddy's
Well Irish Band was on stage tonight
to lead the Hars in many fun Irish sing-a-longs,
including the One Spot Theme Song. At one point
there was a rumor the Bob's would be making
an appearance but that never happened. That
would have been difficult for them as they would
have actually had to leave Flashovers
Tavern for a change. The night ended
at Harrys' One Spot at 7:30AM. For more details
and the unedited pictures, please see the forums
(sorry Albany). Click on the picture
below for more pics.
Even future Senator,
currently State Representative Harry
(Steve) Barrar joined
the group tonight
ALLAN'S
HUGE HOLIDAY BASH
Friday,
December 1, 2006 - More than
30 Hars packed into Allan's townhouse in Exton
tonight for his annual Holiday Happy Hour. Add
the Hars to the 50 non-Hars in attendance and
what you get is one packed bunch with unusually
fun times. The last Hars left the happy hour by
2:30 AM after indulging in excellent food, drinks,
karaoke and other shenanigans. For more details
and the unedited pictures, please see the forums.
